Class is focused on using eleven presented textures that either create linear qualities, or are not inherently linear, but are structured within grids or other linear guides to create the aesthetic of linear design. Again, a large emphasis of exploration is placed on each design with many small tweaks presented to help you find your own voice within each design and make unique decisions. The design lesson focus is on organically meshing linear based elements into other areas of quilting, with bridges and transitions to avoid a choppy appearance and integrate multiple themes.
