In this free Feather Foundations class I will share with you my two favorite tips to finesse your heirloom feathers

  1. Getting the continuous feather to look JUST right... banish those limp hot dog or finger feathers forever!
  2. Making hump and bump heirloom feathers truly nest with illusion overlap for that *chef's kiss* extra touch.

Then, Explore two of my favorite alternate feathers, one for a beginner quilter and another for someone who wants a challenge

  1. The skinny hook feather...such a winner with no backtracking!
  2. My personal invention, The Dragon Fin feather... a huge fancy feather favorite!

Next, I'll share with you two feather border design tips to create cohesive quilting plans on real quilts. We will use a similar strategy, but do one design for a newer quilter and one for a quilter ready for a bit more of a challenge.
